  • Lice eggs will usually stick to the hair and tend to be an oval shape. If it is lice and not just the eggs it wont look like dandruff it will be the bugs.

  • Oh you will know, trust me.....you can't pluck lice off easily, they are literally glued to the hair, and you have to pull it all the way down the hair strand. If you think your LO or whoever have lice, make sure you look for the live bugs as well as eggs. They used to make a glow in the dark lice condiioner to make the eggs glow, but i'm not sure if they make it anymore.

  • Lice nits will be attached to the hair, dandruff you can just flick off. If there are lice there will also be little red bites if a live bug has been there. If you have a kid with an itchy head a lot of whitish stuff attached to the hair and red bites you are dealing with lice whether you see live bugs or not,

  • They cant be attached to the root AND the ends or anywhere the lice wants to lay, but mostly to the roots of the hair, because it's easier for them to stay close to the scalp. ''whitish stuff'' freaks a lot of moms out because dandruff, is indeed white, and kids tend to itch there head w/ dandruff causing RED spots. u have to be very careful on what you're looking at, we just dealth with HL back in jan - UGHHHH !!!

  • Lice are not glued to the hair, they crawl around and will move when you mess with them or the hair they are near. The nets(eggs) are glued to the hair shaft.. They can be clear to whitish color for very young ones to a brownish color. They can still be hard to see..
