  • I have almost $80,000 for my BS and MS. Yes I use my degree, as soon as I graduated I got a job that doubled my salary. I have been there 2 years and have had 5% increase twice and expect another in April. I think I might go back for another MS and not take out loans again, but defer the ones I have for a while.

  • DH owes a little more than 10K on his students loans, and has a job using his degree. I don't have any student loans, have my teaching certificate, couldn't find a teaching job even after subbing for over 2 years, so now I am working full time as an administrative asst.

  • I have a few thousand dollars in student loans, but I will most likely pay them before I graduate. I have one degree that I don't use for its intended purpose...I'm a business major but I've been substitute teaching which requires a certain number of credits so I suppose I wouldn't be able to have my job without it.
