Would it be easier to be the President of China?

President Obama seems to think so.

Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China. As one official put it, “No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.”

  • That should be the motto of the 2012 campaign... The faster we can vote Obama Out of office, the faster he can move to China!!

  • I like what Bill Kristol says:

If you’re president of China, people around the world who are fighting for freedom don’t really expect you to help. If you’re president of China, you don’t have to put up with annoying off-year congressional elections, and then negotiate your budget with a bunch of gun-and-religion-clinging congressmen and senators. If you’re president of China, you can fund your national public radio to your heart’s content. And if you’re president of China, when you host a conference on bullying in schools, people take you seriously.

  • Of course it would be easier...everything Obama wants to implement is already the status quo in China!! Same with Canada! See, he has two viable options...and a whole bunch of progressive ex-pats who can follow him wherever he goes!!!!! LOL :o)

Yea...  I wonder if thats really why he said it. Can't stand the heat....He wishes there were less freedoms... The leader of China isn't required to give a flying f'k about the freedom and liberty of his own people.....

That is precisely why he said it.

  • Well sure, if you control the media you don't have to outsource your torture sessions to other countries like Obama does.
