Had my 2nd opinion regarding my son's knee injury. Got clouted by 2 cafe mom'ers in my last post "Did I do wrong with this Doctor?" The 2nd opinion doctor said he definitely saw my concern. In examining him, he too, said that his movements and with no pain made him wonder about the truth of the MRI; 2 meniscus and 1 ACL tear. It's been over a month and he's walking around and moving around like nothing is wrong, and he's in no pain. I did repeat that it was no reflection on the doctor but that of only drawing from my experience with meniscus tears--PAINFUL. Now, I don't know whether I want that doctor to do the surgery. Would he be still mad at me and mess up my son's knee or should I just let it go? Is he just protecting his employee. I was told by this head surgeon that the doctor doing my son's knee in an expert, sensitive, but still an expert. Thanks for the input...blast me if you must, but I still need this advice.
