  • 37 weeks, I think, with my first. No labor by my scheduled C-section at 39 weeks 2 days.

With my second, I lost my plug at 39 weeks 5 days and went into labor the next night.

It can go either way, lol.

  • 39 weeks. then went into labor 3 days later on my due date. losing your mucus plug is not a reliable sign to predict when you'll go into labor.

  • Thanks. I know it's not a reliable sign or mean that you are going into labor anytime real soon, I was just wondering when everyone started losing their mucus plugs. (:

  • I started losing small pieces when I was about 36 weeks. I lost the whole thing when I hit about 7cm when I was in labor.

  • I was dialated 2 cm for 1 week (at 37 weeks) and never lost it. I lost it the day I went into labor, followed by my bloody show at 38 weeks.
