For those who DID vote for Obama

This is NOT a post for bashing. If anyone starts bashing, this question will be closed.

That being said, I want to know your biggest reasons for voting for him. Just your top 1-3 reasons, if you had more. And also, would you vote for him again, if you could go back?

  • Health care reform. I work in medical with very poor and disadvantaged persons. As well as formerly working with the elder adult population. And then personally my husband is a diabetic who no insurance company would allow us to purchase health insurance. Second, the economic ideas he set as his plan and policies. Third, education. And of course many other reasons. Nut those were the top three. And yes, I would vote for him again unless I liked another canidates better.

  • I was on the fence this last election and was ready to change my party affiliation because Obama was so new, I felt it was too soon. Then McCain made the mistake of choosing Sarah Palin as his running mate and that sealed the deal, as far as voting for Obama. Will I vote for him again, no. But I doubt he'll be on the next ballot.

  • I voted for President Obama because:
    1. He belongs to the Democratic Party
    2. He has great plans for our country...if he's allowed to implement them
    3. He cares more for people than he does for corporations.

    Vote Obama in 2012!!!

  • The nano-second I considered John McCain (which was really when he was up against Bush in 2004)

He wasn't up against Bush in 2004

  • I didn't like any of the other choices I had in 2008.

Don't yet know about 2012. Need to see who's running.

  • 1.) I felt he had great plans for change in this country.
2.) He cares about PEOPLE, not the companies.
3.) A vote for Obama was a vote against McCain.

I don't know yet about 2012, as things stand right now, yes, I will be voting Obama again. But there is always the chance that someone I would feel were a better choice would run, but I highly doubt it... I love my fellow American's way to much to vote Republican!
