  • At 12 months I started to mix whole milk in with his formula. I just gradually increased it a little each day.

  • Not until after they turn 1. Just an ounce or less once a day to start.

  • My son is breastfed and I wanted to start weaning at 12 months so I started him at 11 months, just a little bit with lunch. He didn't have any problems with it so I just gradually increased it as he approached 12 months. He is my third child though....I waited until 12 months with my first and second child.

  • One year. He was unimpressed but I didn't worry. Water is fine for hydration.

  • Gradually mix it in with his regular formula or breastmilk, a little at a time. That way you will know how well they tolerate it. Some kids have an allergy to milk.

  • At least one, I had started her as soon as my formula ran out. As long as they eat I wouldn't see why you have to start them slow, unless they don't like it maybe.

  • i never gave my kid times for transition. i know bad mommy. but at a year the bottle and formula went in the trash and she got a sippy cup with milk. she never had a problem with it at all. at two i just threw away the binky. again no problems.
