  • That we are boring and cant have fun.

That we are bigots and hate everyone who doesnt agree with our beliefs. The ones who are bigots and hate are the ones who get the attention...most of us are very accepting.

  • That they are closed-minded and self-righteous.Wanting to be in charge of what others do or think.
Some Christians may be like that, but I detest lumping people all in the same group or mindset. We're all individuals...even Christians.
I think some people feel that Christians have some dark, deep secret that only they are hip to.Not even!

  • Is it really a misconception just because it isn't universal? So far everything that's been listed, I can think of at least one person for each who had voraciously defended those views (some of them all from the same person). It's fair to say you shouldn't generalize, but there are people who do believe each of those things, even ok's - there are some who believe since you don't believe exactly as they do, you aren't a real Christian.

  • That "misconceptions" actually ARE misconceptions and not the truth. I have found that every "misconception" listed here has proved to be true more than once.

  • That we aren't sinners too. "ALL have sinned and fall short of hte glory of God."
And personally I DO believe the Bible is 100% accuate. It is the god-breathed, holy inspired word of God.
