  • Most things we take a stab at at home. We try and find a recipe for it. But certain dishes are too expensive to make at home. Those are the ones I'll try when eating out.

  • steak, it just doesn't taste the same. I think its because restaurants get to pick the highest quality meats and the typical grocery store doesn't carry the prime cuts.

    Look around for a butcher shop - you get better selection, and a lot of times they run sales cheaper than the grocery store on select things. Great resource to have if you can find one local.
