how do you stop this problem?

i have a 30 month old son i have disaplined him many times but he still hits and bites kids and kicks the dogs and gettin the people i live with very mad because he wont listen to any one

does any one have a suggestion how to resolve this problem

  • Consistancy, consistancy, consistancy. What methods of discipline have you used? Could it be the enviroment that you're living in that could be causing him to act out like this? He's looking for attention and the discipline is a form of attention for him.

  • time out corner. One minute per age. If they come creeping out put they back without saying a word or making eye contact. they can kick and scream as long as they are on that spot. When the time is up get down on his level explain in short words what he did wrong. then make him say sorry if he is a talker or give him a hug. worked with my son. just make sure you stick to it as it is discribed or you will end up in a back and forth fight with a two year old.No one wins.
