Big baby

i had an ultrasound yesterday and my doc said that she was 3lbs and 5 ounces im only 30 weeks does this mean that shes going to be a big baby my last two were only 5lbs

  • 5 lbs is not a big baby. and no, probably won't be much bigger than your last two.

  • well you might not want A big baby but i think that 5lbs is small, Was she a preme. my oldest was a preme and the twis were premes. My last was ullterm and he was 7/ 14oz tahst a good weight but big babys are good. I just dont think that huge babys are LOL.

  • They say after u get to 30wks they start gaining 1/2llbs a week. So yeah I would say he/she is going to be big. :)

  • yay and yes my other two were born at 36 weeks but im getting shots with this one to make me last to my due date

  • i agree with sissy... in 10 weeks baby could gain 5 pounds... which would make you have an 8 pound baby... which is just above the average mark.
    my girls were all small... 4lb 6oz, 5lb 15oz and 6lb even... an 8 lb baby would be HUGE to me! ha!
