  • NOT LONG! only buy small packs, You could probably go to size 1 in 2weeks or so depending on his weight gain. Also pampers has sizes 1-2 and 2-3 etc,, they seem to lat me longer, my son is in 2-3 he's 10mths and been in that size about 4mths now.

  • My baby girl was 7 lbs 12 oz when she was born. She stayed in newborn diapers for only the first two weeks.. then size one. She is now in size three and just turned 4 months old.

  • My middle son left the hospital wearing size one. Newborns only fit for a couple of days.

  • Mine was in them for about 5 mos. She weighed about 9 lbs at that point. She is very little and at 33 mos she is wearing a size 4 and has been in a size 4 since July or August.

  • It all depends on how much the newborn weighed at birth, and all newborn diapers range in size. If you had a NB weighing in at 7lbs or more, i wouldn't waste my money on NB diapers. both my dd's left the hospital wearing size 1, of course they were 10lbs and 9lbs. I'm sure you can start putting your son in size 1 now. =]

  • My baby wore size one at the hospital. So probably not for very long maybe two weeks to a month. But every baby is so different.

  • It depends. Keep him in them for as long as they fit, and don't leak. You could probably start using the next size too though, when you run out. That way, you don't buy another package of NB ones, and halfway through them, baby has outgrown them.
