Eyebrows gettin burned by wax....any tips on how to soothe it?

i wasnt paying much attention to wht i was doing. well to how hot the wax was (guaranteed next time i will make sure its not that hot) and now my eyebrow skin is red and irritated.... i been waxing since i was 16 im 30 now and this is the first time i didnt make sure the temp was right....oops such a painful lesson

  • Put desitin around your eyebrows where its red. Rub it in so you don't look like a clown. I had that happen to me when I went to a salon and Desitin cleared up irritation and redness. Irritation went away immediately but it took the redness to go away after about an hour. I tell ya I'll never go to that salon again.

  • Two things I do that seem to work best:
    1) Witch Hazel Pads you can get them anywhere. They will be regular circle pads, cut them into strips and place them on your eyes directly after plucking/waxing.
    2) After Sun Aloe Vera spray or gel applied to the area.

  • Bikini-zone get it at walgreens or CVS or walmart. It stope the burnin, itching and red bumps from shaving anywhere on your body, even eyebrows and upper lips

  • aww, poor thing!! Try and get some aloe, or lotion with aloe... that helps burns really well. Get better soon!!

  • aloe gel..
    or try a little pathenol.. if you don't have any try some pantene conditioner.

  • Butter if you don't have Gigi skin soothed use butter I know it sounds crazy but trust me try it asap
