How early can i take my son to the dentist he has 8 teeth and dose any one know any good home remedy for teething or other common kid issues?

  • The pediatric dentists usually want to see children on their first birthday. It is a simple check to make sure everything is going well and that there are no problems. It also helps the child get used to the dentist at an early age.

  • my dd has 12 teeth and has not been to one! most wont see them until they are 2 years old! i bought an amber teething necklace for my dd to wear while she is teething it works like a dream! she got all her 1 year molars in and i had no clue until i saw them while i was brushing her teeth!

  • my doctor said at most 6 months after their first tooth comes through.. (although some dentists won't take kids until they are 2 or 3).. so be sure to look around. My insurance wouldn't cover dental until they were 3. so also check with your insurance.
