Have you ever taken tylenol pm or tylenol #3 while pregnant?

I'm 34 weeks pregnant I went to the hospital the other day and was told my baby was sitting on my sciatic nerve. Well they gave me tylenol #3 which I hate cause I don't like being high at all, but I took it because of the amount of pain I was in. I explained that to the nurse and she said that I could take tylenol pm instead.

Have you taken either with any of your pregnancies if so did you have any problems?

  • I took Tylenol PM. The "PM" part is just benedryl, which is one of the drugs that is considered safe to take during pregnancy.

  • I was prescribed Tylenol #3 after minor surgery. I never took Tylenol PM, but did take Benadryl, which is the same as Tylenol PM, just without the acetaminophen. I did not have any negative effects from either.
