  • We just had it the other night! I boil it with the spices provided with it for about 3 hours. I add carrots, cabbage, and potatoes for the last 30 minutes.

  • I boil mine with the seasonings and spices until it shrinks but take care not to make it rubbery

Tip for Cabbage : Don't boil it, use skillet, an inch of water, chop the cabbage add real butter or margarine and pepper, put lid on and cook for 3 minutes :)

  • I am cooking mine in a slow cooker today. I started actually last night so itll be real juicy. I add red potatoes, carrots, cabbage and 1 cup of red wine & some water and cook for 12-16 hrs.

  • I cook the corned beef in a slow cooker with a little apple cider vinegar to help keep it extra tender. I don't cook the cabbage with it, though. I make that on the stove in a skillet with a little bacon - so good!

  • I was wondering that myself, thanks for asking. I did find a good crock pot recipe on food network.com that I will try on Thursday.
