Would you enjoy spending a month of solitude in a beautiful natural setting? Food and shelter would be provided but you would not see another person.

  • yes as long as I got to take books and writing materials , scrapbooking stuff, painting supplies. Many years ago I ended a difficult relationship and as insurance I would not get involved in another I made it a point to, outside of work, curtail all social events etc and stay home--learning to like myself I called it. I no longer feel the need to have "someone " go with me shopping or to lunch or whatever. I like the company but if it is not available, I am able to go on my own. Its a good thing as most of my friends are 10 years younger or more and still work, I have a lot of free time to wander alone.

  • I would miss my son too much, but if he was with me, yes, I could escape the world for a month, and everyone in it.
