What happens if you report a person and/or their profile

do they find out who reported them? what reasons can you give for why you reported someone?

  • Depends on what you reported them for. If it was a violation of policy Cafemom will look into and send that person a warning if needed. If it is a repeat offender. Depending on the severity of the infraction they might suspend or delete the account. If you reported someone just because you don't like them then nothing will happen. Chances are though you'll get the default response from Cafemom about it not violating policy and if you have a problem the best recourse is to block and ignore. .

  • Their profile would have to be violating the TOS, or else Cafemom won't do anything. You have to have a valid reason.

  • Cafemom looks into it supposedly and basically does NOTHING about it.

  • And no, the person being reported does not know who reported them. However if the person hasn't violated cafemom policy in some way (that you can prove and should prove when you file the report) then nothing will happen.
