Military COLA

Ok since gas prices just keep going higher and higher do you think the military will pay COLA to state side military employees? I think they should because it's effin redonkulous how much gas costs and military paychecks are already GREATLY diminished.

How do you go about getting food stamps? I ahve ben trying for awhile but everytime I talk to someone I think knows about it I get shut down. we are E-5 and appearantly make too mcuh for ANY assistance...

  • Well some military do get COLA in the states. It just depends on where you are. But I don't think they will raise it at all.

  • Op, if you are military you have probably attended a spouse briefing ( usually held at fmrc, FRG, etc) the military will say~ that's why there is a base gas station, bx/px, and commissary, shoppette, movie theatre, community ctr, and dining facility.
