Babys weight

At 35w and 3d is 5lbs and 4oz regular? Or too big or small?

  • I gave birth at 37 weeks exactly and she weighed 6lbs 14oz. It seems to me you're right on track. You'll have a healthy baby, don't worry.

  • Normal starting at 36wks your baby will start gaining about a pound a week.

  • Ultrasounds are not very accurate after a certain point in determining weight. With 3 of my babies they were waaay off on weight. everyone was about a pound more then their estimate.

  • yeah they were off on mine to, they thought my 2cd son was smaller then he was and they had to do a c-section and my doctor was all WOW that is a big baby. He was 8.3. They thought he was around 7 pounds.

  • One of my children was born at 35 wks. She was 5 lb. 7 oz. So, sounds ok really. I would think if they were concerned w/ the weight they would let you know eh?

  • When I was 35 weeks, Sebastyen was 7pounds 6 oz, I was induced at 37 weeks and he was 8 pounds 6 oz. I only gained 30 pounds.
