What about "mom" hair?

I have dreads, does that detract from my mommy look?

  • i get shit for how i don't look enough like a mom too. it's dumb. there is no mom look. if you're a mom you're a mom! :) i have crazy curly hair and my boys as babies have always pulled it out so dreads sounds like the best solution to me! rock 'em and ignore the crazy conformist mom mold! :)

  • I have large amounts of hot pink and blond in my hair mixed with really dark stuff. I also have a lot of tatoos. I usually don't think twice about whether someone is a parent or not when I see them. Nothing suprises me. Anyone(alomst anyone) can have a child. lol

  • Uhh, NO! I would think Dreads would be a little easier...you can always pull back in a ponytail to avoid little hands pulling on them...

  • I love it, it took me forever to have them at a good length. I just keep hearing that I don't look like a "mom" and I am trying to figure out why.

  • Dreds are so cool. Being from NYI have seen this look throughout my whole life. On men and women. Its all good. Just maintain the look. Put in a pony tail to manage and enjoy.

  • Well as long as you add a cute scarf to hold them back ;-) I mean that's how the bus stop moms think apparently
