Does the rule still apply, about not wearing white after Labor day? Or does it even matter?

Do you wear what you want to, or do you let society's rules dress you?

  • the only reason that was a "rule" was because back in the day (which was a wednesday by the way ;] ) the poor folk would start wearing darker colors after labor day because of the cold weather and wanting the sun to attract to the dark colors. I don't follow the rule, I have a white sweater I wear occasionally.

  • I guess I'm what you call "Old School". I still live by that rule. Lol It's been instilled in me for so long now that I never think about it anymore. But these days? I don't know what to say. Everyone does their own thing, I think.

  • I don't care one way or the other.
I live in a high altitude area, so even during the 'winter months' the sun can still be harsh, so I wear white to repel it.

    up to you I think.
