How do I get rid of mold and mildew under the bathroom sink

The basement bathroom had a leak under the sink and now that it is fixed the wood floor of the vanity cabinet has dried and now is ripe with mold and mildew.

  • Spray it with a bleach & water solution & let it sit. Make sure you leave the cabinet door open & ventilate the room (use the fan or open a window)

  • Yep exactly what the previous post said :) I use a spray bottle and do half water and half bleach. Tends to do the trick

  • Clean the area, is the area generally humid and wet. Keep the area open for sometime if it is used as a cupboard... Almost every alternate day clean it with a dry rough towel so that all the mold comes out permanently...
