How can I get back my sons' therapy toy?

My son brings his hand therapy "toy" to school each day. My son normally leaves the therapy toy in his back pack but this afternoon he showed his friend the therapy toy. My sons' friend wanted to trade his army toy for my son's therapy toy. My son didn't want to say no to his friend. Now my son has an army toy. I'm very up set with my son for trading his therapy toy.
How can I go about getting back the therapy toy? I know the little boy & his mother but I don't know their phone number.
The hand therapy toy cost a pretty penny and I'm sick of having to buy it.

  • Call the school. Explain the situation. Ask them to get in touch with the other mother.

  • Call the teacher, see if she can intervene.  I'm sure the other parent would gladly give it back if he/she knew the situation.  I would.

  • If you can't talk directly to the mom of the friend and explain, I would call the teacher. Good luck
