When you were pregnant, before you knew the sex of the baby...

What did you call them?
Bundle of joy? Rainbow? I have heard a lot of different nicknames for the growing baby. I called her "peanut" until we knew we were having a girl. In my 9 week ultrasound, she looked just like a little peanut.

So tell me, i wanna know all those cute nicknames!

  • "this little monkey", and once we knew, it has been the baby's name or "your daughter/granddaughter/niece" (depending on who I was talking to)

  • My friend called him roo.. Like Roo from Winnie the Pooh because I was like a kangaroo holding a baby in my pouch. I didn't really like it though.

  • I called the baby Studley Jr. lol. It was a joke, because I used to tease my husband and call him Sgt. Studley (he's in the Army).
