How many games should I have at my dd birthday party?

She is turning 6 and this is the first real party we have done.

  • Not too many. Keep the party short, to about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Play, games, cake, present, go home. 3-5 games should do it. They should be find to just run around and play. OOooh, bubbles. You could do bubbles. Add that to my other answer to your other question.

  • I guess I should mention that we are doing it in the back room of our local Pizza joint. The owner told me we had to have a pinata so we are doing that too

  • Kids get bored quickly, so plan on doing 15-20 minutes per game.

  • Not many at this age. If they can be outside, just running and playing may be enough. Bubbles, pin the tail are both tried and true.
