  • We are "getting by" but would be nice if we could make just a little more than what we have to pay out in utilities, rent, car payment, etc every month. We're now expecting our 3rd baby this Sept so that is stressing me out now. We had just decided we were done having kids & then found out we were pregnant :-s

  • We are "getting by" as well. We have our normal bills such as rent, car note, car insurance, cell phones, water, electricity, but we also have 2-3 credit card bills, and two student loans. On top of that we have the monthly household items to buy and diaper and and clothes for our ever growing 3 year old. We both are working but my hours got cut back A LOT compared to last year. Hopefully business will pick up some or I gain another client. Good luck to all the other mommas and families struggling out there with finances.

  • Who *couldn't* use more money? lol I know I could! We're getting by alright, but it would be nice if we could get a few extras as well. Not that I'm not thankful for what I have- I'm definitely that.

  • What gets me are the bills that you pay but you don't actually buy anything tangible like life, health, disabitlity, dental, auto, home insurance and taxes. All of these take a huge amount out of our pay, and pretty soon there won't be much left after the rest of the bills such as electricity, cable, oil (huge in New England), gasoline, car maintenance, and let's not forget the kids, telephone, cell phones, internet.
