How do i get my 18 month old to stop hitting?

he also kicks and pulls my hair. he thinks its funny.

  • I agree that a firm NO! and staring at him should make him stop. Then stop holding him and walk away. Put him in time out *every* time he does this and also praise him for when he acts nice. Time out can be you not holding him or putting him a crib.

  • I agree. Be firm and consistent. If he gets a time out *every* time he hits after a while he will know if he does that he will get a time out. He will stop. Just be consistent.
