How long does a perm last?

  • a perm is short for permanent.. so so long as you care for your hair it lasts until those strands grow out.

    some hair won't take a perm.. hair without a medula (normally really fine naturally blond hair or excessively damaged hair).
    and if the hair is to heavy it may pull on the hair..

    chloesmom: if it frizzed a straightener is the last thing she needs! she is lucky she has hair left after that!!!!!

  • well, it can last a while if properly taken care of....
    It also depends on how your hair is too....if it'll hold curls well or not. My BFF had a perm and her hair, it just frizzed really bad. So, she had a straightener put on it.
