A 29 yo grandmother?

I'm floored by this. I just read the article about the 29 year old woman in the UK who's going to be a grandma. OMG!

  • There is a 23y/o grandmother in Romania. She was 12 when she had her daughter and her daughter was 11 when she had her son.

  • I'm glad that I posted this because i'm learning so much. I didn't think about other countries, traditions, cultures, when I posted this just my own.
    I'll research this to become aware of different cultures.

  • no one was ever that young in my family, but I could see it. if you have a child when you are a teen, then if your child does the same thing, then you are a young grand parent.

  • I was 35. I had my dd when I had just turned 18, My dd had her son at 17. Obviously both moms were teen moms in the situation.
