Name the tv show....

that directly or indirectly helped to 'spin-off' these tv shows:
Maude
--- Good Times --- interesting fact-- one of the Creators of the show Michael Evans played the original Lionel Jefferson on the Jeffersons and on the show that is the answer to my question.

Gloria
The Jeffersons

704 Hauser-- interesting tidbit-- John Amos - the dad on Good Times was on this show.

There is another, but the title to this 'spinoff' would be a dead giveaway to the answer of my question. This spinoff started when they 'ended' the original show they renamed it and the 'new' show ran for 4 seasons.

  • All in the Family is the answer-- Here is how it all ties together. Edith's cousin was Maude-- she was a guest on a few episodes. So Maude got her own tv show. Maude had a maid named Florida (Esther Rolle) and they spun her off and there is Good Times- which was co-created by Michael Evans-- who played Lionel Jefferson.
The Jeffersons were the Bunker's neighbors, and eventually they 'moved on up' and got their own show.
Gloria was a show that lasted 1 season and it was about Gloria as a divorced mom raising Joey on her own.
704 Hauser is Archie's address - this show (staring John Amos - dad Evans on Good Times) is about a family that bought Archie's house and lives there. I guess Archie's grandson Joey was in 1 episode to tie it to all in the family.
As for the not named show - it was Archie Bunker's Place
