Do I have the only bottomless pit 3yo??

My son is 3 and he just eats and eats..When hes done eating a meal, 5min later he wants something else. Its like he is never full. and is ALWAYS asking for food! I duno about a growth spurt...hes been like this for about 2yrs. Is there anyone else that has bottomless pits for children?

  • yes my 1yo dd! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! she will finish eating her meal and come over to eat mine too! drives me INSANE!!!!

  • My son is 3 and can out eat me. In the morning he will eat two bowls of oatmeal and 45 mintues later be hungry again. His weight is average for his percentile too.

  • amylynn, im curious-how many lbs is ur son? mine is 38 and 3'3 and hes a tall boy. and was always a big one! 9.2 at birth

  • My four year old does the same thing. Its really bad like at night he has a snack before bed, if he lays in bed 5 min. and doesnt fall asleep he says he is hungry. GRRR

  • my son goes through stages like this and then sometimes it is like pulling teeth to get him to eat anything if he is healthy I wouldn't worry about and also if his doctor isn't worried then you shouldn't be it is just one of the many growth spurts kids go through
