What would cause my eyebrows to fall out? Only on one side?

  • trauma is the usual culprit. sleeping more on that size, tweezing, touching the eyebrow too much. and yes it can only happen on one side

  • I have a pretty big scar on that side but iv had that for at least ten years, it seem to have happened over night. i have a six month old could it be from having her?

  • i've never heard of losing eyebrow hair from having a baby. do you tweeze? cause pulling out one hair traumatizes the whole area, do you sleep on your side? rubbing the pillow causes trauma. do you touch them? just rubbing them causes trauma

  • Yes, your thyroid hormones can change. Losing eyebrows is one of the signs of an under functioning thyroid.
