should i keep her i nbed

my daughter is going to be 2 next month, she has a bad cold right now..runny nose, coughing, sneezing no fever though. should i keep her in bed with fluids or let her run around like usual?

  • If you can get her to stay put, I would try that...
    When my daughter is not really feeling well she will lay down all by herself.

  • if i keep her in bed, to add their is no tv or anything like that in her room.

  • ok i was thinking of maybe giving her a few toys or osmething. since she has no tv to awtch lil cartoons in their just in case she just wants to relax and wont sleep

  • i tried that, got her all bundled up etc. gave her a cup of juice...and she said no and is runnin garound like usual lol

  • I would just let her run around if she wants...I wouldnt let her get too riled up like roughhousing, and no going outside...but ,i know when my kids are sick sometimes they dont "act" sick...they still play and run around lol

  • do you think it would be Ok if i set up her travel crib with some comfy blankets and laid he rin their in front of the tv? she wont be able to get out so it kinda forces her to just take it easy

  • It is true some times kids do not feel as sick as the sound...
    At the point you are at I would let her do her thing, and in hopes she can take a good nap.

  • ill just let her run herself out a lil then lay her down for an afternoon nap. poor thing threw a fit about me using the lil sucker to clear her nose hah, ohh she hates that thing but she wnot blow
