  • I use 1/4 cup Oxy-Clean and 1/8 cup baking soda with my detergent. No bleach. Tears up my undies. At $6.25 or $6.50 a pair, I want them to last.

  • I try to stay away from bleach all together...
using warm water instead of hot and baking soda for whitening and vinegar
for odor and mild soap, my whites do stay pretty white for awhile...

  • I use about 1/4 cup for a load. My washer has a bleach dispenser with it and I fill that up. I hate using vinegar in the laundry, I can't stand the smell. But, Borax works wonders with all laundry and doesn't make your home smell like a pickle factory.
