My 3 year old grandson is still not talking like he should. he can say some like mommy and daddy. but hes not speaking like he should. and most the time when he trys to talk you cant understand what he is saying. what could be going on? at what age was your child talking well? should his parents get it cheeked out?

  • I would think asking the pediatrician for advice would be a good idea.

  • My son has Autism he is tow and he don't say anything. Yes you should get him checked. It could be his hearing! Have you had that tested?

  • no they have not had that tested. i will let them now they might want to do that.

  • Yes, I would request a developmental evaluation. They will do a hearing and vision check first to make sure that he is hearing/seeing well but then they will run a battery of tests to tell you if or where there is a delay.

  • I would def. have the parents call their pedatrician. He should be speaking more words than that. Does he go to preschool?
