Just lost what looked like a mucous plug - but I'm NOT pregnant! Help?! adult content

Ok - this is slightly odd to share on here. But I don't even have a doctor and didn't know where else to ask. Today I have had stuff coming out of my vagina that looks exactly like my mucous plug did when I had my first daughter (never noticed one with my second daughter) - clear, gelatin like globs... I have merena (spelling?)... but I've never had any thing like this happen before... other than right before labor with my oldest. Has anyone else has this happen and NOT been pregnant? What else could it be?? I'm just a little weirded out.

  • It just sounds like unusual heavy discharge, no? You should get checked you may have some sort of infection. Try sitting in a shallow bath for 20mins with a cup of apple cidar vinegar in it, this will balance your ph in your hoohaa if an inbalance is the cause of the discharge, it wont hurt anyway. Also look into tea tree oil and live yoghurt.

  • Oh - thank you... I will try that... maybe it is just a heavy discharge. I've just never had that happen before - didn't think about that being possible but I guess that doesn't sound too strange... thanks for the input I really appreciate it.

  • Yes, this happened to me. Life continued as normal. It is just your body spring cleaning. Perhaps you have been really active or slightly dehydrated.
