Have you made stuffed shells using lasagna noodles?

  • I saw this on America's Test Kitchen. Looks much easier than trying to fill manacotti noodles.

  • My MIL does this all of the time. It basically tastes the same .. I just call it lazy stuffed shells ... only because of my MIL though haha!

  • Olive Garden does this lol I still use the shells I find it easier honestly to stuff the shell then place it in the dish rather then roll it up & make sure the filling stays in there. Must be a secret I dont know about!

    No matter how exactly its done one of my fave meals pasta, ricotta, shred cheese & some sauce puts me in heaven! Sometimes we add extras like ground beef/turkey/sausage, peps or onions, etc!

  • Sort of, but its a dish all in its own right. Lasagna rolls. I've also made lasagna rolls using roasted eggplant and had it turn out really well.

  • Those are called Lasagna Rollups, NOT stuffed shells. Stuffed shells are stuffed shells. But the rollups are a lot easier to make than stuffed anything.
