  • I would get her a little something. If you are staying there go out of your way to pick up after yourself and probably him as well. I recently did this with my bf mom. I met her for the first time, my bf, DD and I all stayed a week. He cooked and I cleaned. They were at each others throats(both super stubborn) by the end, but she loved me.

  • If you get her something just something small. Either something meaningful or useful ya know. Or you could just get a nice box of chocolates for you all to enjoy or bring a dvd & kit of candy for a movie night. Dont over do it. Just keep things clean & offer to help her out whenever you possibly can. Have fun!

  • Maybe a fruit basket, wine, or anything you/he might think she likes. Also camiam81's suggestion is also very good advice.

  • You don't have to take a thing. Grandma has been around a while. She doesn't need anything. ( Something little if you feel you need to take something.) Just be kind, listen, clean up after yourself and offer to help with anything she asks for. Just be yourself. There is nothing to be nervous about.

  • Grandma's love bath things or hand lotion. My vote is for something she can use but not a candle. Or pretty note cards.
