Am I able to conceive?

I'm 20 years old and I'm very petite, small bone structure,my weight fluctuates between 85-89, I'm 4'11", my period don't skip but they are irregular 26-40 days, I use OPK and I do get positive every cycle and my periods are normal they last about 5-7 days and start heavy then get lighter each day. My question is based on this am I able to conceive? I try very hard to gain weight but my metabolism is just so high, I track my calories but I just don't gain weight,I don't lose weight I just maintain the weight I'm at. So is my size ok like am I able to conceive since I have periods and get OPK. Any tips on gaining weight to would be great. Baby dust to TTC moms!

  • I would say if you are getting positives on your OPKs than yes. I was only 95lbs when I conceived with my oldest DD. I am 5 foot and very petite as well. I am pregnant with my 3rd child so chances are good.

  • You may need to gain some weight. That could be why your cycles are irregular.

Talk to a nutritionist about ways to gain weight. Even just gaining 1lbs would really be beneficial. GOOD LUCK!
