3 yr old ate a pack of gum!!! HELP!!!

My three year old just ate a whole pack of gum!!!! What am I supposed to do that can't be good for him and I am worried!!

  • other than an upset tummy potentially he should be fine. All the myths about swallowing gum and it taking 7 years to digest or whatever are old wives tales. He'll pass it and be fine. No worries.

  • Thanks I was freaking out he never gets gum any way and thought it was candy!!! I called the dr just waiting to see what they say to do.

  • I've had one of mine do this... the doc will just tell you to keep an eye on him to make sure nothing gets backed up. lol Should be just fine.

  • I would NOT call the doctor. it will eventually come out. He may get a tummy ache but that's about it.
