I had a high liver enzyme result & it was my Gallbladder which I had removed. That could be causing the fever. When gallstones cannot pass, they can cause an infection which raises the white blood cell count. Lets hope that is it since it can be easily removed through laparoscopic surgery that is minimally invasive and she will be fine. The gallstones will show up on an ultrasound. If they find nothing, I would bring her immediately to an "Infectious Disease Specialist" who can check for Lyme disease (tick related), West Nile Virus (mosquito related) & others that are not common. Tell them if you use insecticides in the home even on a Dog or Cat or any specific cleaning agents, Mold, etc. GL
