What bright, lively wall color would go with my maroon couch?

The couch in question :) My walls now are beige, as is the floor, and I HATE it. I want to go with a more lively or bright color if I can find something that will go with the couch. If not, I'm going with slipcovers! lol

  • A yellow it an orangey hue to it. Dark enough that it is a true color but light enough that it isn't blinding. I'll try to find a picture of what I am thinking...

  • definitely golden yellow. You might not like the sound of it, but it looks GREAT together.

  • yellow and marroon, eh? my eyes hurt just thinking about it. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but not much that's light and pretty matches that drab color of maroon. I definitely think you need to make/invest in some slipcovers. Really really.

  • It's actually not really that dark and dreary of a color, it's my camera phone. lol I have decided to go with a shade of green! The maroon of the couch really makes the walls pop! It looks beautiful, and I really love it since green is my favorite color :)
