Linen napkin question (stains)

We use cloth napkins but some have become quite stained. How do you wash them? DO you wait until you have a whole load of only them and not use fabric softener? I throw mine in with my other laundry because we go through them fast and need them back again.

  • I would just pretreat them for bad stains! How green of you! What kind do you use and where did you get them? I am going to switch my family to cloth napkins!

  • I gave my dd a paper towel the other day and she said "why would I use this for my face???" LOL my kids are so used to cloth. I use paper towels for cleaning though.

  • Hey LovelyC. Mine are mostly from my mom, and the few I have bought were from Prim Americana type stores (suits my fav color/style).
Isn't it bad th to leave a pretreatment on too long before washing? Thanks!!!
