When do boys start growing pubic hair? adult content

Yesterday my 7 1/2 y/o banged his testicle and was having me look for damage. He has hair all over his scrotal sack. He's seven! It's short and sparse but it's there and I can't remember ever seeing it there before.

  • Ten? Really? Mine got underarm hair at about age 12. I haven't looked at their pubic area since they were 9-10 so, I don't know.

  • I'm pretty sure there is always a fine layer of hair, but it doesn't get dark and burly until puberty.

  • each child is different and each child gets different things at different times; my son is nine and he has had to start wearing deodorant because he sweats so badly

  • That sounds a little youg to me, wouldn't hurt to give the pediatrician a call.
