Do you take off your wedding rings when you prepare food?

i never do. i always wash my hands thoroughly afterward but sometimes i wonder if that's good enough.. lol. these hands have mixed all kinds of raw meat and hopefully there isn't lingering food particles on my wedding rings!

  • I take mine off if I'm going to be mixing raw meat with my hands. I'm scared there will be germs even if I wash it. lol

  • if i'm mixing meatloaf by hand or kneading dough I do, my wedding band has "My soul mate" in Gaelic engraved all around it and the grooves get dirty easily

  • The only time I take off my ring is when I'm taking a shower...it's a half size too big and I'm scared all the soapyness and friction might make it slip off and on down the drain...I don't like the ring much but I don't want to lose it either lol

  • I remove mine only if I am mixing ground meat with my hands. Even though I wash my hands first and the ring gets washed, still never know waht could be on it and I do not like getting all that meat all over my ring.

  • No, because then I KNOW I would lose it. I can always clean it really well afterwards, so I am not too worried about. Germs don't scare me LOL

  • If Im wearing the diamonds I do, only because it's a pain to pick the food out of the settings, if it's just the gold band I leave them on.

  • I only wear mine when I leave the house. Even when I was wearing them all the time, they came off when fixing food ... cleaning them can be a HUGE pain.
