  • not to be judgemental....but i don't think a 6 month old is supposed to eat chicken. babies don't have enough teeth at that age to really gnaw the meat to a point that its not going to choke them! How about some good old applesauce?

  • Doctors don't suggest meats until 8-9months. I would just relax and stick with veggies and fruits at this point. Babies get plenty of protein from breastmilk and or formula.

  • mix it with other foods this is what we did and its not to young if ur baby can handle it my son started on real food at 6 weeks (baby ceral, applesause and mash tators) and by 6months was eating just about everything we were. and alot of ppl would think hes over weight now but hes not he actually a little under weight b/c of how tall he is.

  • try to blend it up really well with water. IDK WHY your Dr would say that. Maybe bc the baby needs protein? IDK but i'm sure you might be able to find another Dr that takes that insurance. just get on the web and search or call your insurance company and find out where more pediatricians are. Remember, not all pediatricians are correct. Not even all of them HAVE kids

  • She probably means baby food chicken. If that' the case, you just have to keep trying and she will adjust to the taste and texture.

If she means CHICKEN... no, don't give her regular chicken yet.

  • Your doc is dumb. IS there a reason he said to give her chicken?
