  • ok thanks i have a 2 year old and me and the husband wanted to wait to take him but my mother-in-law is insting we go now!

  • My oldest was 3 and my youngest was 18 months because he chipped his tooth

  • My older three kids I took at 2 1/2. My 4th I just took the dentist at 2. The AAP is recommending earlier now, but our pediatric dentist still said they recommend between 2-3.

  • # is the average. The child will have a full mouth of teeth then. Until 3 years old there is no need to take them unless they chip a tooth or other such emergencies. As long as the teeth are regularly brushed and cleaned, 3 is a good age.
