Can you return crib mattresses?

A friend of mine bought a crib mattress, however her crib is too big for it, and the mattress just slides around. Now she bought it at walmart just the delta one for 40 bucks. Can she return it? Shes going to call first thing in the morning since she is at work thanks!

  • If it is still wrapped, probably. A receipt wouldn't hurt either.

  • If it is unwrapped my guess would be no. Why didn't they put the mattress in while wrapped. Would you want to buy an unwrapped mattress?

  • They haven't used it, her DH took the wrapping off, put the sheet on it, and then put it in the crib. They were hoping they could return it some places do rewrap things.

  • I would think so. At the walmart where I live, there are some that aren't wrapped, just with a sticker on them. So, maybe!

  • If she has the receipt I would think so. If not, Once Upon A Child will buy it but not for what she paid.
