When you want to buy stationery (cards in boxes), where do you go?

I'd like to send cards out to people and would like to pick up a box of cards but frankly, it's been such a long time since I've bought any that I'm not sure where to go. Any suggestions?

  • I second the recommendation for Target. I bought some really nice blank cards from there a few months ago.

  • Thanks for the suggestions so far! :)

Sadly, Target isn't in Canada yet. :( I avoid shopping at Wal-Mart (personal reasons - I don't judge anyone who chooses to shop there). The quality of the cards in the Dollar Store isn't all that high although I've bought Thank You cards there in the past. I'm not crafty so making my own would be a pathetic attempt although I receive handmade cards and LOVE them. So far that leaves Hallmark.

  • Big Lots or the dollar store. Just noticed you're in Canada do they have a Papyrus there? They have really nice stationary, I think they are also online.
